It’s hard to start anew

My heart is broken and sad

I find it hard to be glad

 

The roses. Chocolates and cards

No longer bring me joy

Its just another day

Without you, I cannot find my way

 

I still have all the memories

Of the times we shared

But that doesn’t make it easy

Not to have you here

I held him in my arms that day

When I heard him say

He said 'Mummy, Mummy'

At last I heard the  words

At last I heard him say it
At last he called me 'Mummy'
